LeCarle is born out of a passion and a pulsating desire to search for new meanings. We believe that through jewelry we can express art and culture.
With that in mind, we don't want to be tied up with seasons, but with passion, delicacy and respect for the curation of each piece, so that we can develop work that has a real sense of timelessness and awakens the desire for lasting value.
We know the fragility of raw material extraction in jewelry, for this reason we cannot fail to address social and environmental issues, which are part of the world.
It depends on us the ability to respect and preserve, to prevent the depletion of resources. For this reason, we are always looking to recycle, replace and give new meanings to the art of jewelry.
CARLA DUTRA
Founder and Creative Director
Born in Porto Alegre, from Rio Grande do Sul, mother, married, and currently a resident of Curitiba. Daughter of merchant parents, Carla had a simple childhood, but was always involved in projects on the outskirts of Porto Alegre, where she had her first contact with arts, theater and dance. She was always very creative and curious, a root researcher. Being from a large family, I had 4 brothers, always inherited clothes of older sisters, or distant cousins, from there was born the fascination for dressing with personality, choose each piece and accessory that conveyed her strong personality.
“I remember that as a child I loved to wear my mother's clothes with a pearl necklace carefully kept and I would stand in front of the mirror singing like a goddess of Rosana (a sensation at the time). As an adult when I was studying law, I remember being more concerned with the looks I would wear than with the legal cases that had repercussions in the media at that moment, it was when I decided to do fashion design, and I discovered then that I didn't know how to sew, but that I have a very strong creative and rational capacity.” — CARLA DUTRA
After studying Law and migrating to the Fashion Faculty, he then began to develop his first creations: pieces of jewelry. In 2015, she entered the jewelry market selling the famous ''semi-jewels'' - plated jewelry, but she still felt that she would not stop there. In 2019 Carla began her training in Jewelry Design at IED, in São Paulo, where she had contact with great names in the national and international market, and decided that it was time to create his own brand, and thus LECARLE was born: an artistic brand that represented its values and principles through classic and timeless pieces.
By the time I decided to create LECARLE, we were in the most critical period of the pandemic, the world was at a standstill and uncertain. But I was sure I needed to create a different jewelry store, something that goes beyond design, something real, and with a real sense of timelessness. I wanted a brand of jewelry produced by people for people. The relationship with sustainability and social relationships is something essential in my brand, especially the relationships with our employees.
CARLA DUTRA
